About Soccer Addicted
Soccer Addicted is a global football portal published in seven languages: news, transfers, analysis and reference guides for people who live the game, wherever they are.
The heart of the site is the reference library: guides that explain how a competition is actually decided, what a rule says and where it came from, and comparisons that put two clubs, two eras or two ideas of football side by side. Around it sit the daily news, the transfer market and match coverage of the main European and Brazilian leagues.
Our newsroom combines technology with human judgment: an AI system monitors hundreds of sources and official data to draft stories, and every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. AI-assisted content follows strict factual rules, and AI-generated images always carry a transparent label in the caption.
Every article lists its sources at the foot of the page, linked to the original; in a reference guide, that is the official document, whether the IFAB Laws of the Game, a FIFA or UEFA regulation or a CONMEBOL rulebook. We would rather a reader checked us than believed us.
When something published turns out to be wrong, it is not edited away in silence. The article receives a dated correction note, in the editions affected, saying what changed and why. A newsroom that alters a published fact without saying so is asking for a trust the reader has no way to verify.
