Who is responsible

Soccer Addicted is edited by Lucas G. de Moraes, who is accountable for everything published across the six editions. The newsroom can be reached at contact@socceraddicted.com.

How we report

Our news starts from established outlets and official competition data. Every transfer story names its sources in the body text and lists the original links at the end, so readers can check for themselves.

A rumour is not a fact: transfer coverage states how reliable the information is, and we never present an ongoing negotiation as a done deal.

How artificial intelligence is used

We use AI to monitor sources, draft stories and localise content for six markets. AI does not publish on its own: news and guides are reviewed by a human editor before going live, and the editor decides what ships.

Match pages are the deliberate exception: they are generated from official data (teams, kick-off, score, standings) with supporting text produced by AI under strict rules, without case-by-case review. There, the AI is forbidden from stating anything not present in the data: no line-ups, no goalscorers, no incidents, no statistics.

AI-generated illustrations are always labelled as such in the caption. We do not use AI images that depict real people realistically.

Errors and corrections

We make mistakes like any newsroom, and we fix them quickly. Found an error? Write to contact@socceraddicted.com with the article link. Material corrections are made in the text and the page's update date changes to record the change.

Independence

We do not publish paid content disguised as journalism. The site is funded by programmatic advertising, which is always visually distinct from editorial content and never influences what we cover.
