Frosinone × Juventus · Serie A
Goals
Match report
Juventus won 1-0 away at Frosinone in Serie A on Sunday 23 August at 17:30 BST. Bremer struck on 22 minutes for the visitors, and that single goal settled the afternoon. It was a narrow win, decided inside the first half and then protected for as long as the game had left to run.
One moment shaped everything that followed. Once Bremer had put the away side ahead before the interval, Juventus never surrendered the lead, and Frosinone spent the remainder of the match chasing an equaliser that never arrived. The scoreline looks tight, but it hides a side that was in front from the 22nd minute onward and was never pulled back level.
For the record, months from now: Frosinone 0, Juventus 1, Serie A, with Bremer the only scorer and the 22nd minute the only entry on the goal sheet. Nothing else changed in this fixture, and the lead Juventus took on 22 minutes was still standing at the final whistle, with the visitors holding on to exactly what they had built in the first half.
